Landscapes

Vast areas wrapping us, far away or quite near, familiar or foreign, lightened or in deep darkness. Reflecting our state of mind, being pleasant or threatening, harsh or soft, vast enough to contain us or tiny. Landscape of after the storm, of consolation, of mystery. All of those and more are what I’m after in my paintings whether I’m facing the landscape or trying to bring back it’s memory.
